Monument to A. S. Pushkin

The opening of the monument to A. S. Pushkin took place on November 5, 1999 at 14 p.m. The monument was erected at the intersection of Pushkin and Pervomayskaya streets. The authors of the monument are sculptor G. A. Gevorgyan, architect M. G. Matveev.

The authors created a monument of the late twentieth century, which carries the essence of today’s art. This is the image of the poet, not his standard image. It is a monument to Poet, Poetry and Inspiration.
