Yekaterinburg

Koptelovsky Museum of the History of Agriculture and Life of Peasants

Sverdlovsk region, Alapayevsky district, Koptelovo, Krasnye Orlov str., 29

About the company:

Peasant hut is an architectural monument of the XVII century, cut down with an axe and assembled without nails, a collection of agricultural machines and aggregates, tools for flax processing and weaving, blacksmith fishing. Monuments of wooden architecture in the open air XVII - XIX centuries.

An ordinary Kerzhatsk village three kilometers away from the Yekaterinburg-Alapayevsk highway. I guess. No way! The exposition in terms of peasant (and Soviet peasant including) labor and everyday life is fuller and richer than Tagil and Nevyan. The tour of the museum lasts two and a half hours.

Almost completely preserved, and not restored peasant hut of the XVII century (only windows were reworked, and a canopy was built on top of the hut so that the birch bark roof was not repaired).
