The regional specialized center for medical rehabilitation "Lake Chusovskoye", (formerly the Regional Hospital for Rehabilitation Treatment "Lake Chusovskoye"), located on the shore of a picturesque forest lake 16 kilometers from Yekaterinburg, opened on September 30, 1999 as the first European-type clinic in the Ural region. It combines the capabilities of a modern rehabilitation center, a hospital and a sanatorium.
The Medical Rehabilitation Center was created to help patients with cardiovascular and neurological diseases. Particular attention is paid to the rehabilitation of patients after suffering vascular "catastrophes" (myocardial infarction, stroke, cardiac surgery).
In 2009, a new medical building OSCMR "Lake Chusovskoye" was opened. There is an outpatient and polyclinical department, a swimming pool with a balneotherapy hospital, a conference room.
