Bulgaria has not yet joined the Schengen Union (March 2013), but recognizes the right of Schengen visa holders to visit Bulgaria!

With any valid Schengen visa, you can enter Bulgaria. With a Bulgarian visa, you can only travel to Bulgaria. And exactly as many times to cross the border of Bulgaria as indicated in the visa!
