Park "Friendship" is located in the heart of Elista and is the largest recreation and entertainment area in the city.
The park was founded in 1937 and immediately became the most popular place for leisure and recreation of residents of the city.
The style of the park is designed in an oriental manner, although on its territory you can find plants from various countries.
Also, the park is famous for a huge number of various sculptures and monuments. Here you can see the Alley of Heroes, a monument to the popular Kalmyk poet Eelyan Ovla, as well as sculptures "Boy and Dragon", "Precious Time", "White Elder" and many others.
