Sculpture "Three Little Heroes"
Lenin Street, Elista, Kalmykia, Russia
Description:
The sculpture “Three Little Heroes” is a small street monument and one of the many striking sights of Elista. The sculpture is located in the heart of the city, on the boulevard next to the children's gymnasium.
Like many other street monuments that adorn modern Elista, the sculpture “Three Little Heroes” was created in 1997 as part of a biennial competition held in Kalmykia. The author of the "wealthy" was the famous sculptor P. Tarzaev, who depicted three boys in armor sitting on the ground. The Creator dedicated his monument to all Kalmyk children who bravely endured the hardships of their people on an equal basis with adults.
The sculpture “Three Little Heroes” is a very small monument, but its elegance and symbolism invariably attracts the views of passers-by and tourists.
