Kerch - the city of griffins

Travel to Kerch is the oldest city in Russia! In Kerch there are attractions of interest to any traveler. There are several ancient forts, two fortresses - Yeni-Kale and Totleben Fort, the amazing Royal Kurgan, the oldest Orthodox church in Russia - the Church of John the Forerunner. I invite you to slowly wander the ruins of Panticapei; squeeze through narrow streets, climbing to the top of Mount Mithridat; go down to the ground in the Adzhimushkay quarries, which served as shelter for the soldiers of the Red Army and local residents during the Great Patriotic War.

The main thing: Adzhimushkay quarries, excavations of Panticapei, panoramic views of the Kerch Strait from the Mithridat Stairs, the dromos of the Tsar's mound, the Turkish fortress of Yeni-Kale, the underground fortress of Kerch (fort Totleben), the temple of John the Forerunner, the Obelisk of Glory to the Immortal Heroes.
