Markkhotsk Ridge of Gelendzhik Bay
Description:
Markhot is a picturesque mountain range located in Gelendzhik.
For 90 km in the Western Caucasus stretches the Markhot Ridge, running parallel to the Main Ridge.
On the ridge itself there is a beautiful natural monument - Sheskharissky woodland, consisting of a juniper.
The top of the ridge is 650 m high, equipped with an observation deck with a delightful view of the
beautiful Gelendzhik Bay and the city.
After sunset, numerous city lights are lit, and, reflecting on the sea surface, create a similar picture.

Also at the peak point of the ridge are the so-called ruins.
There is an abandoned military base and its ruined foundation.
You can reach the sights from the village of Vinogradnoye. There's a bus and a taxi before him.
At the end of the route on the highway is a bus stop. From it by bus you can get back to the village of Vinogradnoe.
