Mount Lake Kesenoy-Am. Hoy City Museum.
Description:
A trip to the mountain lake Kazenoy Am is one of the most popular routes for guests of Chechnya.
The drive passes through the picturesque gorge of the Hulhulau River in Vedensky district. The route itself is full of natural and historical monuments. Before climbing the Harami Pass, we will find ourselves in the last settlement of our route - the village of Harachoy. Here we will get acquainted with the legend of the late 19th and early 20th century Zelimkhan Kharachoysky, who in the 21st century was nicknamed the Chechen “Robin Hood”.
If we recall the statement of the famous character of the film "Gentlemen of Fortune" - "Who will plant him, he is a monument", then in our case the monument to Zelimkhan is made in a sitting pose at the spring "Maiden Spit". After drinking a mountain spring and listening to a few stories about the adventures of the local Robin Hood, we will rise to an altitude of 2180 meters above sea level and will be above the clouds. We will visit the unknown world of Chechnya and get acquainted with the harsh and beautiful heyday of these mountains from the 14th to the 17th century. This is a trip to places that have been closed for the last 75 years. As the saying goes, there are almost two generations of “No man’s foot” and we have the opportunity to see the pristine beauty of these places and enjoy the absence of side noises of civilization and listen to the voice of nature.
With this eagle height, we will go down the picturesque serpentine road to the mountain lake Kazenoy Am and find ourselves at the lake formed, according to people, by the collapse of the mountain, which blocked the river and gave people this beauty. And this is the place, according to the apt statement of the presenter of TV travel, which should visit any person at least once in his life.
After dining in a cafe and appreciating the local cuisine, we will move through another pass and find ourselves in the Macajoi basin and appreciate the space views that can successfully be the location of a film about a trip to other worlds. The end point of our trip will be the city-museum "Hoy" under the open sky. The reconstruction of this ancient city will help us understand the life and living conditions in these harsh and beautiful places.
Returning back to the city will be full of impressions from exploring the splendor of Islamic architecture, imprinted in the architecture of the mosques of Shali and Argun.
The building of the mosque in the city of Shali, built recently, deservedly called the locals "Little Taj Mahal". This splendor of Islamic architecture impresses with its attention to detail. On the entrance arches on the four sides of the building there is a marble mosaic, each of which is made according to an individual pattern. In each window there is also a non-repeating mosaic of colored glass, made by the Tiffany brand.
In the architecture of this building, the Uzbek architect Abdul-Kahir was able to combine three styles of Islamic architecture Ottoman, Central Asian and Maghreb countries.
The final chord of our journey will be the high-tech mosque in Argun, which the Turkish architect built in the form of a spaceship, as if it had just landed in the city and had not turned off the lights.
