Grozny City is a symbol of the new time and the revival of Chechnya

On the banks of the Sunzha River, in the heart of Grozny, rises the ultramodern architectural complex "Grozny City" - one of the most recognizable symbols of modern Chechnya. This is not just an ensemble of skyscrapers, but the embodiment of the idea of revival, strength and desire for development.

Built on an area of more than 4.5 hectares, the complex includes seven high-rise buildings - from 18 to 40 floors. Its pearl is the Phoenix Tower, which rises majestically 145 meters high. It is named after a mythical bird reborn from the ashes, like the city itself, rebuilt after years of hardship.

The architecture of the complex is made in an urban style, where glass and steel play the main roles. The majestic facades reflecting the sun during the day and shining with thousands of lights at night give the impression that Grozny was transported to the future. Tourists often compare this ensemble with the skyscrapers of Dubai or the Moscow City, but Grozny City retains its own national character - with elements of Chechen ornament, stucco and gilding, decorating the interior spaces.

The official opening of the first stage of the complex took place on October 5, 2011 – the Day of the City of Grozny. Today, Grozny City is not only an architectural dominant, but also a symbol of the revived city, which entered dozens of tourist routes of the Chechen Republic.

Visiting Grozny, it is impossible to pass by this sight: from the height of the observation deck there is an impressive view of the Heart of Chechnya mosque, green parks and majestic mountains on the horizon - a landscape in which the past, present and future of the republic are combined.
