Stereotypes about the Chechen Republic

Description:

Hello, friend! I want to introduce you to the life, culture, religion, history of the Chechen people. In the course of a series of articles I will try to acquaint you with the beauty of my region, interesting monuments of history and culture, beautiful natural objects, people and numerous legends and legends. To begin with, I will try to answer 100 of the most popular questions that guests of the Chechen Republic have. If there are new interesting questions from my readers, I will try to answer them out of turn. The answers will be complete and as detailed as possible to eliminate any doubts about a particular topic. The topic of our article will be “Negative Stereotype of the Chechen Republic”.

“You will go to Ukraine or Palestine!” – said relatives, colleagues, friends of tourists who are going to visit the Chechen Republic. This region managed to become famous all over the world in the mid-nineties and early zero years because of two bloody warriors. Any news related to Grozny or the republic as a whole was associated only with the negative: "Chechen terrorists ... Chechen gangs ... attacks by Chechen militants ..." etc. Over the years, the flywheel of propaganda was promoted 100% and outright lies and misinformation were pumped into the inexperienced minds of people. The motive for this is to gain approval from crowds of people on bloody campaigns, to achieve political goals or personal ambitions. The population has been successfully embittered and the goals have been achieved to some extent, but what is going on in the minds of the masses? Many people have heard the bell of the wartime press and try to pass off the lies they hear as their personal opinion. Therefore, a large number of people begin to twist their index finger at the temple, not approving the trips of their friends to our land. However, if people with stereotypes come to the Chechen Republic after curiosity overcomes their fears, then their stereotypes are shattered, because the picture that has developed in their minds is diametrically opposite to what they actually see. Walking through the streets of Grozny or the outskirts of the republic, people are surprised by the apparent purity, good-naturedness of the local population, hospitality, a calm atmosphere, the rapid development of the region, and we have something to wonder!

Cities and villages of the Chechen Republic rose from the ashes in a short time and have modern architecture. They are spacious and beautiful, construction processes are everywhere, residential complexes are being built, cathedral mosques, green park areas breathing a huge variety of flora, wide and high-quality roads are laid, there are all the benefits of civilization in the most remote settlements of the Chechen Republic. All of these changes are striking and raise many questions that we will try to answer in our next publications. Subscribe, comment, ask your questions, which I will try to answer in the future.
