Day 1:
Acquaintance with Grozny
After the meeting at the airport of Grozny you will be taken to the hotel. You will settle in, have lunch and go on a city tour, during which you will get acquainted with the historical heritage and modern architecture of the Chechen capital.
Visit the memorial complex of Glory, dedicated to the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Visit the National Museum and walk along Mahmud Esambayev Boulevard. You will see the main mosque of the republic - "Heart of Chechnya". The outer and inner walls are lined with the rarest marble – travertine. The interior is decorated with white marble, which is mined on the island of Marmara Adasa in the Sea of Marmara.
Next you will visit the Cossack Church of Michael the Archangel, built in 1868 on the donations of Russian and Armenian merchants. After a walk along the promenade of the Sunzhi River, you will climb to the observation deck of the Grozny City high-rise complex, and then go to the flower park.
After the tour, you will have free time, and in the evening you will have dinner on the famous “Kebebab Street” in Grozny (dinner is paid extra).
Day 2:
Lake Kesenoiam and ancient fortress towns
In the morning after breakfast you will leave the hotel and go to one of the most beautiful lakes of the Chechen Republic - Kezenoiam. On the way, visit the Heart of the Mother Mosque in the village of Argun and the largest mosque in Europe in the city of Shali. You will see the monument to Zelimkhan Kharachoyevsky, who is called the Chechen Robin Hood, and learn the legend associated with the spring “Maiden Spit”.
After reaching the lake, you will stay in a hotel and walk with a guide around the neighborhood. The first settlements here date back to the V century BC.
After lunch in the restaurant of the hotel complex you will have an auto excursion to the ancient fortress city of Hoi. From the Chechen language the name of the city is translated as "guardian". Its battle and signal towers hang over a deep gorge. The slopes of the mountains here are muddy with dozens of ancient artificial terraces for agriculture.
After the tour you will return to the hotel and have dinner on your own.
Day 3:
Medieval monuments in the Argun Gorge
After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the southwestern part of Chechnya – to the Argun Gorge, one of the largest in the Caucasus. There are many architectural monuments of the early and late Middle Ages.
