Chekhov Bay in Gurzuf
Description:
Chekhov Bay has a small size, so it is not easy to find even on a detailed map of the Crimea. However, she is widely known to fans of the writer’s work, as well as among connoisseurs of sea bathing. It has the cleanest beach, belongs to the house-museum named after A. P. Chekhov.
The name of the bay, of course, is associated with a popular Russian writer. In Gurzuf, Anton Pavlovich worked on his works - "The Cherry Orchard" and "Three Sisters". The literary figure appreciated this place not only for its incredible beauty, but also for the possibility of solitude. He left the land as an inheritance to his wife.
The bay itself is very small, but the water in it is clean. It has a large number of marine animals - these are crabs, small fish. The beach area is almost absent.
