Theatre Triad

ooh Lenina, 27, Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Territory

About the company:

The Triad Theatre in Khabarovsk was organized in 1975 at the Palace of Trade Unions as an amateur pantomime studio under the leadership of Vadim Gogolkov. She worked in three main genres of pantomime, featuring plastic drama, classical pantomime and clowning. At first, the most famous and popular performances of this studio were “The Old Man and the Sea” by E. Hemingway, “Corrida” by E. Yevtushenko and “Levsha” by N. Leskov.

In 1989, the theater-studio acquired the status of a municipal pantomime theater, and in 1995 it moved to its own building of the former Pioneer cinema. From that moment, the genre face of the theater began to change – in addition to the classical pantomime of the head of the theater, experiments in the field of dramatic theater began to attract more and more. In the main repertoire of the theater, a special place was occupied by the performances of the genre of clowning “Our House”, “Vorugi”, “Spinning” and “Station for the Seven”. The theater closely and actively cooperates with foreign partners. One of the brightest examples of joint activities with foreign colleagues was the Russian-Japanese project to stage the play Hagoromo. The theater "Triad" is rightfully considered a theatrical landmark of Khabarovsk. The amateur pantomime studio has grown into a municipal theater over time.
