Conquer the hills of Khabarovsk

It is worth leaving Khabarovsk for only 20 km - and you will find yourself among the reference landscapes of the Far Eastern taiga, with its cleanest air and boundless panoramas. We will walk with you to two picturesque hills, where I will show the best angles and talk about the riches of the Bolshekhetsir Reserve, which is located at the confluence of the great rivers Ussuri and Amur.

I'm going to take you through the reserve, and you're going to learn about its incredible flora and the rare animal populations that it's so famous for. The second stop outside the city is one of the most popular places for Khabarovsk climbers. Climbing this hill, you will admire the magnificent view of the Amur and Khabarovsk itself. And while walking around the nearest neighborhood of this fortress of the Bolshekhetsir ridge, I will tell you an interesting legend about the origin of the name of the hill.
