Lake Blessed

Khabarovsk district of the Khabarovsk Territory, Russia.

Description:

Lake Blagodatnoe is located in Russia, in the Khabarovsk Territory, in the vicinity of the village of Knyaz-Volkonskoe and the village of Blagodatnoe, in the valley of the Sita River. Its length is 0.75 kilometers, width is 0.65 kilometers, the greatest depth is 6 meters.

In 1980-1990, gravel was mined in the Sita Valley with a dredger. After mining was completed, a large artificially created lake appeared in this place.

The lake became a place of winter and summer recreation of Khabarovsk residents and local residents. In the northern shallow part there is a beach and a recreation area with summer cafes. In the southern deep-water part, you can ride hydrocycles. The northwestern part, overgrown with shrub, is a good place for fishing.

In winter, on the ice of the lake, the championship in track motor and auto racing is held.

The stream connects Blagodatnoe with the Sita River, so the water level in the reservoir depends on the water level in this river. In the center of the lake there is an artificial island and a small grove.

In the vicinity of the villages of Knyaz-Volkonskoe and Blagodatnoye, gravel is extracted hydromechanically to this day, an earth-sucking projectile works here.
