The recreation center "Silver Source" is located 277 km from the city of Irkutsk, on the coast of Lake Baikal, in the Kumin Bay of the Small Sea, in the area of Kurm, where the mountain ranges are covered with taiga forests, steppes and mobile sands stretch. The base received its name due to the nearby Silver Spring. The spring with silver water is known throughout the Small Sea. Also near the Recreation Base "Silver Spring" are: Tsagan-Khushun, famous for through arches of bizarre shape, as well as the observation deck of the Primorsky Range, from where a strikingly beautiful view of the entire Small Sea opens.
