Estate Pavlovskaya Sloboda
Istra district, 8 km from Nakhabino station.
Description:
Pavlovskaya Sloboda was formerly the village of Pavlovsky, the estate received a double name in 1864. The first mention of this settlement refers to 1504, and the first owner of it in the boundary charter is Yakov Morozov. By 1730, the patrimony had become a palace.
The Annunciation Church has reached our days, which was built in 1661-1662. The covered passage connected the temple with the choirs, in which the boyar Boris Morozov lived. Also, the estate included outbuildings, a wide economic complex, massive hewn gates, as well as fruit gardens.
The Annunciation Church consists of a columnless four, there is also a refectory chamber. In the decorative decoration of the temple - kokoshniks and casings. In the XIX century, a three-tier bell tower was erected here, which has not reached our days.
Interestingly, the direct road connected Pavlovskoe with Moscow, it was on it that Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich loved to go to praying. In addition, the choirs of Queen Natalia Kirillovna were located here.
In post-revolutionary times, the estate experienced difficult times, but in the 50s, the production, located in the church, was removed from there.
