Description:

The estate Pokrovskoye-Rubtsovo is an ancient patrimony of representatives of the noble family Nashchokin, which they owned since 1616. With them, a boyar courtyard was built here, in the middle of the XVIII century - a stone Pokrovskaya church, which is a rare example of Baroque architecture in the Moscow region, which years later was rebuilt in the traditions of classicism. Today, a church and a courtyard are open for tourists.

Subsequently, the building was owned by the nobles Golokhvastov and the manufacturers Morozov. The heyday of the estate fell on the XVIII century, it was at this time that an amazing park and architectural ensemble of stone buildings was created here. Only the church and the park have survived from this composition.

The preserved manor building is a two-storey house with a mezzanine. After the merger with the outbuilding, the gentlemen's house became a typical elongated palace plan building.

Having suffered a lot after the Great Patriotic War, in the 1950s the estate was almost completely restored. The house is now private property.
