Polevshino Manor
Description:
Estate Polevshino from the XVII century belonged to the boyars of the Poles, then on a related line passed into the possession of the noble family of the Balk-Pole. The estate often changed its owners - it belonged to both Saltykov and the nephews of millionaire S.T. Morozov - Karpov.
According to the description of Archimandrite Leonid from the end of the XIX century, in those days the estate consisted of a lord's wooden house, outbuildings, a church yard, a two-tiered church with a tent bell tower, a garden and a lime alley.
The church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, built at the end of the XVII century, the remains of a park that lost its splendor and a small pond, has reached our days. In addition, there is also a tomb of the Field boyars, but all these attractions are in a deplorable state.
