Source of St. Leontia has been in operation for over 40 years. The Church of St. Michael of the Archangel parish was built in 1819 by the zeal of parishioners, instead of the wooden 1701, dismantled for dilapidation. According to the stories of old-timers, not far from the temple, the monks excavated a cave where they lived, and prayed in a wooden one. There is a cemetery at the temple. Two thrones: in the cold part - in honor of the Archangel Michael, in the warm - in the name of St. Michael. Tikhon of Amafunt (miracle-worker). For almost two hundred years he did not stop his service, even in the Great Patriotic War. In Soviet times, it was almost the only available temple in the Furmanovsky district. For the last eighteen years of his life from 1955 to 1972, the Monk Leonty, Archimandrite Mikhailovsky, a miracle worker, held his ministry in the church. His canonization took place in 2000 among the new martyrs and confessors of Russia. The holy relics of the elder are now in the temple. Before St. George died. Leonty predicted that a spring would clog up near his grave and people would be able to heal in its waters. And indeed, the source has opened. In 1996, a chapel with a bath was built over it.
