Church of Alexander Nevsky in Springs
Description:
The temple named after Alexander Nevsky is located in the small town of Rodniki, in the Ivanovo region. This temple is the first, which was rebuilt using the style of architecture of the Middle Ages. The temple began its work in the late 90s of the 20th century.
The place for the construction of the cathedral was not chosen by chance. Many years ago there was a chapel named after Peter and Paul.
Particular value is attached to the temple relics of saints stored in it.
Every year thousands of pilgrims come to Springs to visit the Church of Alexander Nevsky and bow to the holy relics. Externally, the temple is quite modest, relatively small in size. Inside the walls are decorated with biblical inscriptions and carvings. You can get to the temple by personal car or by public transport, following the stops: “Summer Garden” or “Demyan Poor Street”.
