Church of the Trinity of Life-Giving Original
Description:
The Church of the Trinity of Life-giving for a reason is considered one of the main attractions of the city of Ivanovo. It was built in the 16th century by the Circassian princes, but it did not have the image in which we are used to seeing it. Initially, the building of the cathedral was made of wood, and it was built of stone in the early 19th century according to the project of an Italian architect.
Now we see a majestic white temple decorated with porticoes of six columns, triangular fronts and domes in the form of hemispheres. Inside the building there is a three-tiered iconostasis and bright frescoes.
The cathedral attracts the attention of not only parishioners, but also tourists who travel along the golden ring of Russia.
You can get there both by car / taxi, and by public transport moving around the city of Ivanovo: trams, trolleybuses, buses.
