Art gallery named after D.A. Trubnikov is located in the old mansion of the manufacturer N.I. Losev - a monument of architecture of wooden architecture and is part of the Old Believer merchant estate, which has preserved the old interior decoration and park. The house was built in the middle of the XIX century by the manufacturer Gorbunov for his daughter Alexandra Grigorievna Loseva and her family.
The art gallery bears the name of the Russian artist D.A. Trubnikov (1885-1947). Dmitry Trubnikov is known as the author of thematic and genre paintings, poetic landscapes, portraits and bright, colorful still lifes.
The art gallery was established in 1989 on the initiative of a group of enthusiasts who wanted to preserve the creative heritage of D.A. Trubnikov. Since residents of the city are very interested in the history of their native land, the museum focuses on historical and local lore exhibitions, organizes creative meetings with interesting people.
