Uvin Exhibition Hall

The People's Rural Picture Gallery was opened in 1974. Today it is the art department of the museum, which is engaged in the popularization of the artistic heritage of the district, aesthetic education and education of children, acquaints visitors with the works of artists of the Uvinsky district, the Udmurt Republic and the Russian Federation. The exhibition work is carried out in cooperation with the Udmurt regional branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.

In the halls of the museum, the works of professional artists of the Udmurt Republic were repeatedly exhibited: A.T. Russians (countryman, Honored Artist of Russia, People's Artist of Udmurtia), G.G. Vereshchagin, S.S. Medvedev, P.S. Semenov, A.E. Lozhkin, V.V. Okun, V.B. Kotlyarov, etc. Currently, active work is underway to popularize the works of Uvinian artists: G.A. Chirkov, G.E. Sidorov, V.P. Kuznetsov, N.P. Semenova, A.S. Bazilevsky, V.V. Kasikhin, G.L. Ilinskikh, M.V. Potapova. Museum and educational programs are being implemented for preschoolers and younger schoolchildren, social projects for vulnerable groups of the population - children with disabilities, veteran organizations and persons in prison. Popular non-museum mobile exhibitions of funds, which are located in various organizations and institutions of the district.
