Königsberg (now Kaliningrad) was founded as a castle and remained a fortress city until the end of World War II. The system of forts, pillars, walls, gates and defensive ramparts improved with each passing century. The fortification heritage of Koenigsberg amazes with its power to this day, because the most famous buildings have survived.

On this tour, you:
