Curonian Spit: Adventures between the Sea and the Bay

You will meet with the amazing and fragile world of the sandy spit, 400 m to 4 km wide between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Gulf and a journey into the history of the relationship between Nature and Man. Pine forests, snow-white sandy beaches and privacy - that's what awaits tourists during the tour.

Walk through the “Dancing Forest”, covered with myths and legends. Climbing to the observation decks “Height of Efa”, you will see the sea, bay, forest, open sands at the same time! And you will hear the singing of birds and, perhaps, you can watch unafraid moose, deer, boar, foxes. In the period from April to October you will visit the oldest ornithological station in Europe, where from the mouth of a specialist ornithologist you will learn a lot about the life of birds and see the whole process of ringing.

During the tour you can admire the author’s works from amber of local artists – perhaps, the sunstone will play for you with new colors, as well as visit the fish shop – the famous Baltic perch is worth trying!
