What could be more interesting for a traveler than to spend hours walking through the historical part of the old city, admiring the monuments of architecture of a century ago? I invite you to visit the most exotic corners of Kaliningrad - areas of preserved residential buildings of the early 20th century, the colony of Villas Amalienau and the working district of Ratshof.
We will walk along the paving stones in the shade of trees, see the well-preserved houses of wealthy Königsberg residents and adjoining orchards, look at the narrow streets of the working district in the early 20th century. I'm going to tell you about the building principles, the people who lived here at different times, and you're going to take beautiful pictures.
It is in the quarters of Amalienau and Ratshof that you can fully feel the atmosphere of pre-war Koenigsberg.
