Monument to "Special Forces Soldiers"

The monument "Special Forces Soldiers", dedicated to soldiers who died in the line of duty, was opened in the city of Kaliningrad in 2004. It is located in the city park "Youth".

The park is a popular place for city residents and tourists. Often, walking, people stop near the monument to honor the memory of the deceased heroes of the country.

On a high pedestal there is a boulder, and on its front side a shield and a sword are fixed. In 2011, by the decision of the Russian government, the monument was granted the status of an object of cultural heritage. It is under state protection.
