Monument to V.S. Vysotsky

For 14 years in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation, on Victory Avenue in the city of Kaliningrad there is a monument to Vladimir Vysotsky. You can get to this place both by car from Kalinin Square and by city buses.

Three-meter sculpture sitting with a guitar Vysotsky attracts tourists. Without a photo next to the famous poet and actor or on his lap, not a single traveler leaves Kaliningrad.

Initially, they wanted to install a bronze standing Vladimir Semenovich on the project of Lyudmila Bogatova, but as a result of changes in plans, the idea of sculptor Bakhtiyar Saipov was used. On it, Vysotsky sits with a guitar, and it is made of concrete, sheathed with bronze sheets. The great artist and man seemed tired to sit down with a guitar after the concert.
