Kaliningrad Zoo

Kaliningrad Zoo is one of three zoos in modern Russia that have the status of a “historic zoo”. Kaliningrad Zoo is at the same time a dendropark, and the attractions of the zoo are not only animals, but also rare plants, for example, the relict ginkgo tree, the same age as dinosaurs.

Mission of the Kaliningrad Zoo:

is to open for residents and guests of the exclave region the world of wildlife of the planet through the presentation of modern expositions and active educational work with visitors, combining traditional and innovative methods, as well as based on the rich historical and cultural heritage and achievements of modern science.

Mode of operation of the zoo:

9.00-17.00, except Tuesday, ticket office until 16.00.

Entrance to the zoo stops an hour before closing.
