Arriving in the Kaliningrad region on vacation, the first thing you need to get acquainted with the city. For guests of our region, we have prepared an introductory tour of Kaliningrad.

In three hours you will see:

• city square,
• regional drama theater,
• Kaliningrad Zoo,
• Peace Avenue and Queen Louise's Kirch.

We will drive through the magnificent area of old German villas Amalienau and along the waterfront of the Museum of the World Ocean.

Walk around the island of I. Kant, learn the history of the Cathedral. We will drive near the Friedland Gate Museum and the Amber Museum. Thus, you will see all the iconic sights of our city, spending a minimum of time.

During this tour, we will plunge into the past of the Kaliningrad region - in the early XIX century. Many have heard and know of such events as the Battle of Preusish-Eylau and the Battle of Friedland. Yes, these fateful historical events took place in our region. We go to Bagrationovsk (former Preysish – Eylau), where we are waiting for a sightseeing tour of the city, a visit to the history museum with an exposition of the famous battle and the preserved forburg of the castle. We will see one of the most beautiful churches in the region - the church of Muhlhausen (St. Anna). Then we will go to Pravdinsk (formerly Friedland). The pearl of this city is the Church of St. George, from the bell tower of which we can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. In the Railway (formerly Gerdaouen) we will explore part of the castle complex, walk through the old quarters, which still keep traces of the Middle Ages: cobblestone streets, half-timbered buildings and bizarre gingerbread houses.

Curonian Spit and Zelenogradsk

Excursion to the Curonian Spit National Park is a trip to the magical land of singing sands and dancing trees. A unique creation of nature and man. We will pass the roads of Peter the Great, Thomas Mann, Queen Louise and many more great people, climb to the height of Efa, which will offer a fascinating view of the curly ribbon of forests separating the surface of the bay and the surf, see open sand dunes, go down to the sea coast and try to find a fragment of the sun on the soft sandy shore. You can also try the most delicious smoked fish on the Baltic coast and, of course, buy it from local fishermen.

In the process of this excursion we go to Zelenogradsk (former Krants), which in 1844 received the status of a royal resort. We will walk along the main pedestrian street of the city, see such unique objects as the church of St. Adalbert (Prague bishop), a bayuette with our famous mineral water and a water tower built in 1904. And, of course, find out why Zelenogradsk is called the city of cats.

Schaaken Castle, Schaakendorf Cheesemaker with tasting

Over the Kaliningrad land and today hovers the spirit of the Middle Ages. We invite our guests to experience this atmosphere. We will take you to the famous castle, founded on the site of the Prussian fortress of 1270 - Schaaken Castle. Here you will be introduced to the history of the emergence of this unique structure, the stages of its formation and prosperity. You will see a collection of medieval weapons, the Museum of the Inquisition and household items of the inhabitants of that time.

We are going to start a small family business. Schaakendorf is relatively recent, but has already proven that the company produces some of the best cheeses in our region. You can see this for yourself by trying about 6 different varieties of semi-hard and hard cheeses. Enjoy a glass of wine with delicious local chocolate. Those who wish to buy a favorite product in the store at the cheesemaker. And on the way back, we will make a stop for a photo-pause at the famous castle-hotel Nesselbek.
