Tour "Amber mosaic" November-March

Day 1, Friday

Arrival in the Kaliningrad region.

Transfer to the hotel at will for an additional fee.

Tour of Kaliningrad, 5-6 hours

Sightseeing tour with a view of the main sights of the city: Victory Square, the sculpture "Fighting bison" in front of the building of the Land Court of Koenigsberg, the monument to Peter I in front of the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet, the drama theater, the area of old German villas Amalienau, the defensive fortifications of the city, the Royal and Rosgarten Gates.

You will see the only amber museum in our country, which is located in the fortress tower of the middle of the XIX century in the center of Kaliningrad, on the shore of a picturesque lake.

You will definitely visit the Cathedral (a sample of North German Gothic of the XIV century), where the tomb of the famous philosopher I. Kant is located, learn the history of the main church of the city, the University of Albertina and, of course, Koenigsberg itself.

Listen to the organ mini-concert under the arches of the cathedral and admire its greatness.

Visit the Marzipan Museum at the Brandenburg Gate.

Day 2, Saturday

Excursion to NP Curonian Spit + Zelenogradsk, 7-8 hours

The Curonian Spit is a unique corner of nature included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. A narrow strip of land between the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Gulf.

A trip to the spit for everyone who is tired of the noise of dusty cities and dreams of inhaling fresh sea air filled with phytoncides of coniferous forest. The program of the trip is certainly the highest dune - the height of Efa; access to the sea and a walk in the forest.

Those who wish can buy hot-smoked fish on the spit, which is caught and smoked here according to an old recipe.

Moving to Zelenogradsk.

You will get acquainted with the first and most famous resort of East Prussia - Krantz, now the city of Zelenogradsk.

During a walking tour of Zelenogradsk you will see the unique ancient architecture of Krantz: boarding houses, hotels and private villas of the turn of the late XIX-XX centuries; Lutheran Church of St. Adalbert, Queen Louise Square and the house where she stayed in 1807, and much more. A walk along the promenade will allow you to enjoy a beautiful view of the sea.

Day 3, Sunday

Route: pos. Amber - Svetlogorsk

Acquaintance with the village of Yantarny, before Palmniken. You will learn about the history of the place. The architectural dominants of the place are the Lutheran Church of 1892, the aristocratic building of the Schloss Hotel.

You will walk to the sea through the park named after M. Becker with centuries-old trees. Since 2016, Yantarny Beach has received an annual blue flag – a sign of environmentally friendly and equipped by world standards. Here is the world's largest deposit of amber. You can visit the quarry of the Kaliningrad Amber Plant, where amber is extracted by an open industrial method.

You can try yourself in the role of an amber prospector and, armed with a shovel, get yourself a souvenir "sunstone" in a mini-career and recharge with natural energy and health in the Amber Pyramid, the construction of which took about 800 kg of amber.

You will visit the amber production. Here you will be told about the processing of solar stone and its healing properties.

Next, we will get acquainted with the sights of Svetlogorsk-Rauchen. You will be fascinated by the ancient architecture of the late XIX - early XX centuries: private villas, boarding houses, hotels. Organ hall, larch park, water tower, Kurhaus. Symbols of Svetlogorsk are the beautiful works of the German sculptor G. Brachert – “Bearing Water” and “Nymph”. You will see the new “house” of KVN and the film festival “Baltic Debuts” – the stage theater “Amber Hall”.

You will be led to the sea by terrencourt descents, where a promenade was built near the water for the convenience of vacationers. Shopping, amber shops.
