Peace Square in Kaluga

Peace Square is one of the favorite places for both Kaluga residents and tourists visiting the city.

In the center of the square there is a bronze monument to K. E. Tsiolkovsky. Near the monument is a rocket that is aimed upwards. The monument is truly a symbol of the city. It literally opens the gates to the memorial and space zone of the city. Not far from the square and lived K. Tsiolkovsky.

In the past, this square was called Senna, and there was an active trade.
