Golitsyn Manor
village Gorodnya, Ferzikovsky district, Kaluga region
Description:
The Golitsyn estate was built according to the project of Voronikhin in 1798. Her fate is closely connected with the name of Natalia Golitsina.
The estate consisted of the main building, wings, canteens, greenhouses, orchard, landscape and regular parks, churches, baths, outbuildings. The main stone house of the estate is decorated with risalite with a stucco coat of arms on the pediment. Inside the estate was distinguished by stucco decor and exquisite interior. Unfortunately, the Great Patriotic War completely destroyed the interior of the house.
Economic buildings are made of white stone, and slopes and vaulted jumpers are made of brick. Now the orchard is partially built up. In the park with ponds, everything was carefully thought out: the location of trails, trees, paths.
The buildings of the estate, which have survived to our time, are now used: in the main house there is a school, and in the church there were workshops.
