Rainbow Falls

village of Papino, Zhukovsky district, Kaluga region

Description:

The waterfall "Raduzhny" is located almost on the border of the Kaluga and Moscow regions, in the place where the Nara River makes a large bend. Its shore is rich in a whole valley of beautiful keys, among which there is a waterfall. This is a picturesque place with lush bright vegetation and a beautiful view of the Nara valley.

The waterfall falls from a 5-meter height, and its splashes fall into the rays of the sun and form a rainbow. The slope of the mountain from which the water falls is covered with thick green moss, which creates a truly impressive sight. Near the waterfall there are several smaller waterfalls. In winter, the waterfall does not freeze.

From the forest to the waterfall there are several routes that any tourist will like. For extremes, there are also some fascinating trails.
