Description:
The Samsung Electronics plant, located in the Vorsino Industrial Park, was inaugurated in 2008. The plant produces TVs and monitors sold in Russia.
200 million dollars were invested in the construction of the plant. The area of all workshops exceeds 40 thousand square meters, and since 2009 the plant has launched the largest logistics center in Russia (the area is 53 thousand square meters).
The plant produces liquid crystal and plasma TVs and monitors, Blu-ray players, 3D LED TVs. In 2010, the plant in the Kaluga region produced about 2.5 million units of equipment. Produced equipment is used not only in Russia, but also exported to Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan.
