Waterfall on Michoco Creek
Russia, Republic of Adygea, Maikop district, Kamenostskaya
Description:
Michoko is a tributary of the White River, which is located near the southern edge of the village of Kamennomostsky. The stream is known for the fact that in the cave next to it was found the parking of an ancient man.
According to one version, the literal translation of the word Mishoko from the Adyghe language means “bear valley”. According to another - the name of the stream, probably came from the Adygean phrase, which means "acorn - the fruit of the oak". The unique landscape of this area can be used not only as a tourist route, but also as a place for training.
A mountain path passing along the cliffs descends to a beautiful and powerful waterfall. It looks most spectacular in the spring, after the rains have passed and strong streams of water fall down. This route does not end, and the winding road everyone can climb from the waterfall to the Unakoz ridge, which is located on the left side of the Michoko stream. It is from there that a truly spectacular view opens up. Primordial nature, the cleanest air and the opportunity to join the origins will not leave anyone indifferent who visited these unique places.
