Shumka waterfall in Karachayevsk
Description:
A popular route among young people to the waterfall behind the hills in Karachayevsk. (Not to be confused with the waterfall in Teberda.) The waterfall is 2-2.5 hours away. The route goes through a deciduous forest. This hike is interesting because you can go to it practically all year round - the winter in Karachayevsk is warm, the snow melts immediately. In winter, the water does not freeze and is even more beautiful.
