Karasuk Museum of Local Lore was opened on May 4, 1990, organized by former teacher of history of school 1 Karasuk Antonina Akhilova. She traveled to the villages of the district, collected household items, materials about veterans of the Civil and Great Patriotic Wars. Together with the designers, she built the museum expositions. The museum is considered one of the best in the area. Visitors come from Russia, as evidenced by the records of gratitude in the "book of reviews". At the museum since September 1998, the People's Studio of Fine Arts has been working, where Irina Anatolievna, an artist by training, teaches Stolbnik. Children from city schools are engaged in art studio, students of schools, art studios, schools participate in museum exhibitions. Masters of folk art of the city and village. |
