Road tour to Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery and Ecumenical Temple

“Ecumenical Temple” by Ildar Khanov, a symbol of the unified spiritual heritage of mankind and the Orthodox Church of the Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery.
The Ecumenical Temple, or, as it is also called, the Temple of All Religions, is located in the ancient settlement of Old Arakchino, which traces its history since the time of the Kazan Khanate. This complex of buildings is considered one of the unique buildings of Russia.
In 30 km from Kazan, on the territory of the biosphere reserve, on the shore of the pipisque lake there is Raifsky Bogoroditsky Monastery. It was founded by Hieromonk Philaret in the 17th century. Its main shrine is the miraculous Icon of the Georgian Mother of God. The monastery houses the smallest church in Europe in the name of Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia. Raifa Monastery is one of the most visited monasteries of our region.
