Bilar + Alekseevskoe
Description:
We will make a fascinating trip to the left bank of Kama. We will drive along the bridge with a length of 14 (!) km. It is breathtaking when you see the power and expanses of ancient Itili! Here, in a neat and well-kept urban-type village, the bell-ringing festival known throughout Russia is held.
And we will visit the oldest Russian factory of patterned weaving. To date, only two enterprises engaged in hand patterned weaving have survived in Russia, the Alekseevskaya factory is the oldest. Here, like many decades ago, all the same thread weaved on wooden machines fabric, the whole process of creating fabric occurs without the use of mechanical equipment, any thing created at the enterprise blows the warmth of the hands of masters, and is almost unique in execution. You can see all this by visiting these companies. And, of course, at the end you will have a photo shoot near the machine in clothes made of woven fabric.
We will also visit the Bilyar State Natural and Archaeological Museum-Reserve. It includes an ancient settlement – the remains of a large city, the first capital of Volga Bulgaria with the ruins of a mosque of the 10th century. In addition, we will see an incredibly beautiful place – the Holy Key. This place, revered by representatives of three religions, has long attracted people to itself. We climb the stairs in 444 steps, see the pagan temple, learn the legend of the Host Mountain from the bowels of which a crystal clear spring beats.
Along the way we will see the burial place of the great chemist with a world name - Alexander Butlerov.
