"Azure fairy tale of Kazan" or excursion to the Blue Lakes

I invite you to visit the Blue Lakes. This amazing natural monument is located in one of the suburbs and here you can enjoy the natural beauty, relax in the fresh air, walk along the shores of the lakes and, if desired, plunge into the fonts.

Excursions programme
The start of the tour is scheduled for the morning. We pick you up from your hotel and go to the lakes. The whole road will take 25-30 minutes and I will tell you about the natural heritage of Kazan and Tatarstan.
Inspection of the Reserve
Upon arrival, you will find yourself in a picturesque corner of nature, where a walk through the forest zone will begin. I'm going to walk you through the well-equipped walkways, show you the rare plants, and tell you about the wildlife of the area.
Main attractions:
Great Blue Lake: The largest lake in the system, up to 18 meters deep. The water temperature all year round is kept at +4... +7°C, making it a popular destination for extreme swimming.
Flowing lake: It is located closer to other water bodies and differs in its size and shape.
Great Falls: A small but beautiful waterfall created by the natural flow of groundwater. Little Blue Lake: One of the cleanest lakes with a transparent bottom. Its water has a characteristic blue hue caused by its high mineral content.
After familiarizing yourself with the main objects of the reserve, you will have free time to relax: if you wish, you can swim in the cool water of the lake, take beautiful photos or just sit on the shore, enjoying the silence of nature.
Legends and scientific facts
I will share some interesting information about the origin of the Blue Lakes. One legend says that a young girl, rejected by her lover, shed so many tears that they turned into these magnificent ponds. You will also hear about scientific studies confirming the unique composition of water and the presence of rare species of plants and animals.
Special attention is also paid here to the healing properties of local mud, which is widely used in cosmetology and medicine.
