Excursion to Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery

Description:

I invite you on an excursion to the unique Temple of All Religions and the magnificent Raif Monastery from Kazan. This tour will be interesting for those who are not indifferent to religion and architecture.

From Kazan we will go to the village of Old Arakcino, here is the picturesque Temple of All Religions, which is a symbol of the possible unity of different beliefs. The temple was built by public figure Ildar Khanov, who saw in a dream Jesus, who ordered to build a universal temple. The construction was carried out with the possible help of fellow villagers. During the tour, you can see for yourself what happened. To date, exhibitions, concerts and lectures are held in the Temple, it is planned to open various children's circles and sections here. The Ecumenical Temple tries to unite all the best that has been created over the past centuries. Continuation of the tour will be the oldest Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery - a blessed place where numerous pilgrims flock. The monastery was founded by the hermit Filaret at the beginning of the XVII century. On the tour you will admire the ancient churches of the monastery and touch the shrine - the miraculous icon of the Georgian Mother of God. As the ancient monastic legends tell, already during the transfer of the icon from Kazan to the Raifa desert, miraculous healings began to occur: the blind were restored to sight, the rabid came purification, and the lame received correction.

In 1689, a great disaster occurred in the Raifa monastery - a fire. Not all sacred objects and things were removed from temples and cells. Fortunately, the miraculous Georgian icon of the Mother of God was saved. Having lost their shelter, some of the monks went to other monasteries, and some remained to live on the ashes. Seeing such devotion to faith in the Providence of God, Metropolitan Hadrian of Kazan decided to restore the monastery, but to do it in stone - like the Moscow Resurrection Monastery (New Jerusalem).

The list now in Raifa Monastery is the oldest known.

You will see.
