Elabuga

The tour is carried out individually (only for your company / family), necessarily with a joint departure from Kazan and return to Kazan (not in the format of "get yourself and meet with a guide in Elabuga").

The ancient county town of Elabuga is picturesquely located on a high bank in the floodplain of the rivers Kama and Toima, surrounded by forests. You will spend about 5 hours in Elabuga and during this time you will see the “Devil’s Fortress” and its mysterious tower, Shishkin Ponds – a park above the valley of the Toyma River, the Millennium Square of Elabuga, the Savior Cathedral of the XIX century, Kazanskaya Street, where lush merchant mansions of millionaires are located, the diocesan school – a monument to the charitable activities of Elabuga merchants, the Alexander Garden, founded in honor of the coronation of Emperor Alexander II, the monument to the Kavalist and much more.

You will be able to visit the memorial houses-museums of the artist I. Shishkin, the cavalry maiden Durova, the Bekhterev County Medicine Museum, the Tsvetaeva Memorial House and the Literary Museum dedicated to her, the unique Portomoyna Museum - a recreated old laundry, visually representing the history of laundry craft, as well as soap making. During the 11-hour tour, you will have time to visit 2-3 museums, which you need to choose in advance when ordering a tour. If you wish, you can visit more museums, in this case, the duration and cost of the tour increases.

To Elabuga and back you go by comfortable transport (the distance between the center of Kazan and Elabuga is about 200 km, the road takes about 3-3.5 hours in each direction, there is a sanitary stop), in the city between the objects you also move by transport, but most of the excursion on the spot is on foot.
