"Magic of the Tatar capital" or sightseeing tour of Kazan

We're picking you up from your hotel. During the tour we will visit:

1. Staro-Tatar Sloboda, a historical district where ancient houses of Tatar merchants and mosques of the XVIII - XIX centuries have been preserved; you will learn about the way of life and life of Tatars of previous centuries; I will tell you about Lake Kaban and the legend that in its deep waters the treasures of Kazan khans are hidden;
2. we will pass by the Puppet Theater "Ekiyat", get acquainted with the Freedom Square, which is the administrative center of Tatarstan and where the city hall and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic are located;
3. Kazan Volga University;
4. Kazan Virgin Monastery, the main shrine of which is the miraculous Kazan icon of the Mother of God: you will learn about its acquisition and significance for Orthodoxy.
5. Kazan Kremlin, which is a UNESCO object and a visit to which is the dominant of our excursion; in the Kremlin we go to the Kul Sharif mosque, the Annunciation Cathedral (one of the oldest churches of Kazan, built in the XVI century), as well as get acquainted with the history of Queen Syuyumbike, whose name is the tower in the Kazan Kremlin;
6. Additional opportunities: we can visit one of the museums of the Kazan Kremlin for free.
