The village of Kokushkino of the Kazan province was the estate of Alexander Dmitrievich Blanc - the father of Maria Alexandrovna Blanc, in the marriage of Ulyanova. Here in the estate of her father passed her childhood and youth and here in 1887-1888 was in exile V. I. Lenin. On January 22, 1939, a museum was created in the house that survived the fire.
