New Kyrlay - the birthplace of G. Tukay (87 km from Kazan)

We will visit the literary and memorial complex of the famous Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay, founded in the 1960s and located in a park area of more than three hectares, on the picturesque bank of the Iya River. We will visit the museum, in six halls of which there are exhibits telling about the life and work of the Tatar poet. On the ground floor of the building, decorated with decorative carvings, there are early editions of Tukai’s works, archival photographs and reproductions of pre-revolutionary postcards. On the second floor you can get acquainted with the works of artists and masters of decorative art, which reflect the motifs of the works of the national poet. Then we look at the house of Sagdi, where he spent some period of his childhood G. Tukai, drink water from the well of Apusha, see the pine planted by G. Tukai and Sagdi Abzyi in the spring of 1893 and many sculptures of characters of the works of G. Tukai, with which you can make unique pictures.
