On my car (Ford Focus) we will drive to all the main attractions of Kazan! You will see temples, monasteries, theaters, bridges, squares and parks of the capital. On the oldest street of Kazan there are two passages, one of which was the most expensive and beautiful building of Kazan of the 19th century. You will see the holiest place for all Orthodox - this is the place of the appearance of the Virgin and the acquisition of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God, which later became the title of Intercessor of the Russian Land. We will make a stop and walk through the old-Tatar settlement-country district of Kazan, where in the 16th century, by decree of Ivan the Terrible, after the conquest of Kazan, Tatars were evicted. We will take a look at the oldest functioning mosque in Al Marjani. And until now, this settlement most vividly reflects the flavor of Tatar life, preserved samples of Tatar architecture and is an open-air museum.

The Kazan Kremlin, its white-stone walls, built in the 16th century, the ancient stone Orthodox Annunciation Cathedral, erected by Pskov masters Ivan Shiryaei and Postnik Yakovlev on the place indicated by the tsar himself after the conquest of the Kazan Khanate, we will see the seven-tiered tower of Syuyumbike, named after the last Kazan Khansha and rise under the dome of one of the most beautiful mosques in the world - Kul Sharif. And all these historical monuments will appear before you in all its glory!

Do you know what was the first state in the Kazan region? And did you know that before the 15th century, the Kazan principality was part of the Golden Horde? And that Ivan Vasilyevich the Terrible only after the conquest of the Kazan Khanate began to wear the status of a tsar. And before that he was called the Grand Duke of Moscow. We will drive through the old merchant and noble streets of Kazan, transported to the past of Kazan, see the old squares laid down during the tsarist reign in the 18-19 centuries and walk through modern parks built for the Millennium of the city.
