Island-Grad Sviyazhsk + Raifa + Universal frame

Description:

Island-city Sviyazhsk is located 30 km from Kazan in the picturesque mouth of the Sviyagi River on a high hill of 62 hectares. This is the first Orthodox city in the Middle Volga region, founded in 1551 by Ivan the Terrible. Among the complex of churches and monasteries of the city there are those on which the outstanding medieval architects Ivan Shiryai and Postnik Yakovlev worked.

Raifa Monastery has a centuries-old history. It owes its name to the monastery of the same name on the Sinai Peninsula, founded on the site of the camp of Jews when Moses left Egypt for Israel. Kazan Raif Monastery is located on the shore of the lake, surrounded by centuries-old pines. It is also unique in architectural terms. Raifa is one of those rare monasteries that have been restored almost completely. Its ensemble is considered a masterpiece of architecture.

The main shrine of the monastery – the icon of the Georgian Mother of God – is still famous as miraculous and gives healing to the suffering.

The temple of all religions is an architectural unique complex that has no analogues; a symbol of religions, cultures and civilizations.
